Message I've got a few ideas of where to start (fuse issues, etc) from searching but think there may be a bit deeper an issue overall. I'm pulling codes and fuse hunting this week but wanted to solicit any ideas and feedback in the interim, particularly regarding my Z not starting. Ok then-

I've got a 92 NA Z. About 120k (garage queen these days). Well maintained. Injectors/plugs replaced maybe 18k ago (which was 6+ years back though). Z started right up this morning. Always does. I left my Z idling for maybe 20minutes while I did some spot maintenance/cleaning.

1) Cigarette lighter didn't work. Was trying to inflate the tires a bit with a small cig lighter compressor and found that out. Compressor worked fine in another car (to test).

2) Went to turn on/adjust the climate control (car still idling) - the unit was off/unresponsive. No numbers to be seen. No power to any of the buttons. No feedback/sound/etc. Simply didn't work.

3) I shut off my Z, poked around and pushed a few harness connections together (old idling problem was linked to one - figured maybe same deal here). Went to start my Z and now my Z turns over (strongly) but doesn't start. Crap. Few more tries and no different. Turns but never starts. I want to say I smell a faint gasoline smell now too.

And that's where I stand. I didn't check too much else. Hazards worked. Rear taillights worked (didn't check headlights for some reason). CD/Radio/Ant works.

Any ideas? More specifically, ideas on how, if at all, the AC/Cig issue may be linked to my Z not starting. I'll bet the AC/Cig is a minor issue (hopefully) but after starting without issue, to not starting at the same time I have the AC/Cig problem, I'm wondering if there's more to this.

I'll follow up once I pull codes. Appreciate any advice tossed my way.

-Tim
