Message when you have heat selected. On drivers side in the foot well (you have to lie upside down) above the gas pedal on your left if you take a flashlight you should be able see the heater core. Right on the side of it there is a small valve that has a rod attached to it. I'm guessing you have a manual climate control. This rod is attached the the air mix door motor. When you select the heat the air mix door motor shifts and opens the water cock valve at the same time. Mine died some time ago so I have to manually open and close the valve to have heat. If you look at the valve to feel it, if it is pointing towards the front of the car that is open, if it is pointing towards drivers side it is closed. Check that first. You can also feel the heater core if it gets hot or not. Also your mode select door motor is also probably dead. That's why you can't change where the air is blowing.

27733N is the air mix door motor
27733M is the mode motor
