Message	night. I didn't have a lot of experience with PBB until I started working on my Z and now I swear by it. Did you use a pry bar on both sides (meaning did you use two pry bats at the sale time)? Also if you have already pryed the sprocket forward 1" go rent a gear puller from a local auto supply store and use it to finish pulling the sprocket off. But to specifically answer your question I would not use the YouTube technique unless that was the last option and I was going to install a new gear. Hope this helps. Cheers
