Subject	Why are these ECUs so different?

Message	[ http://i.imgur.com/rwofMl9.jpg ] [ http://i.imgur.com/7eKoK6J.jpg ] ECU on right is the ECU in my Z when I got her. ECU on the left is what I was told, a factory 94 tt 5spd federal which is exactly what I was looking for. The ECU on the right is a late 94 TT 5spd Federal. Got curious, opened them up and they're completely different. I checked the part number on new ECU and it came back as a late 93 TT 5spd federal. Thatll work too. But did the ECU make such a big change between 93 and 94? Or is my "new" ECU something completely different? My Z does run better with the new ECU though...
