Subject	How to replace fuel hoses going to the fuel pump?

Message	Hey guys, I just recently replaced my fuel pump. First time ever doing a job like this. Anyways, I got the new pump installed, but damaged the high pressure fuel hose when trying to re-attach them to the pump. I cut the damaged part away and was left with very little hose to work with. I can feel where it attaches to the hard line, but it is of course covered by the sheet metal right there. Has anyone cut away that section next to the pump access hole to access those lines?
