which is the only side I can see, the lower studs have oil dripping off them. The cylinders are dry though, at least cylinder 1 and 3, if that matters. Perhaps the cylinder gets hot enough to evaporate the oil that's left inside. Of course what really matters is the driver side since the port is on that manifold...I just assume that side has oil drops on the studs too.
What gets me is why does the oil come out of the threaded union fitting? Why doesn't it just flow into the plenum? The EGR pipes that go into the plenum are fully blocked with carbon...would air/oil even flow there then? Or does it partially flow and then have no where to go and goes out the union fitting?
