Message Okay, not actually while working on it, but once I get it set, if it was out of position. Could I crank the engine for the compression test?

I'm thinking of this because if the timing belt is set correctly, I can save the hassle of putting it all back together if its going to ultimately get torn back apart. I think it would be okay, I might have to plug in the CAS and maybe the coolant temp sensor. I don't see any harm in turning it over without coolant on a cold engine.
