Message I've been studying the ECU set ups in the 300's for a while now.. and the Local Common wisdom, that I'm aware of, is the TT ECU is not suitable for the NA Fuel Controller found in the NA Chassis. It is reported to cause the fuel pump to momentarily shut off, and it will cause a 'Hole' in the Fueling Scheme if used. The story as I've read it is, the NA Fuel Controller is 2 Speed, and the TT's is a three speed. If you use a TT ECU ( even with a NA Prom ) it will still try to control the Fuel pump like a 3 Speed.. I read it was a hardware difference of the ECU Board between the NA and TT..

In my Study of the Board, the Silk Screen pattern ( R's and C'c and such ) are the same, and the Silk screened numbers are the same on the two I'm presently checking..

What I have is, an Early JDM TT ECU auto, and a Early FED NA Auto ECU. I've Ziffed both boards and am swapping around a... Z1, NA, 'Pop intake', 91 octane, 5 Speed, Prom.. and I'm playing with a '95 NA car that had a JWT 16 Bit ecu in it..

So far I'm not finding any bad habits the TT ECU bard is having with the NA Fuel Controller in the NA car running a NA Prom.. or any other bad habbits

Anyone actually know what is and is not compatible?..

I understand that the 5 Speed ECU does not have the outputs for the Auto tranny and there for can not drive one.. is this true?

I also understand the NA ECU does not have the outputs for the Fans and Boost Controller.. is this true?..

Will a NA ECU control a TT Transplant into a NA Chassis if Chipped TT?

Thanks for any information you may add..
