Subject	Vibration that lessens with driving?

Message	'94 TT. Feeling some vibration that feels like its coming from behind and sort of around me at 50+ mphs, under that its smooth. I can feel it in the steering wheel too. New tires were balanced, alignment done. Its most noticeable when the car has sat for a day or so, and after driving for a bit on the highway the vibration lessens and remains the same. Going 50+ rolling down the highway in neutral doesn't change the vibration. Ive had the driveshaft out and the bushing around the carrier bearing was hard...very tiny cracks but nothing to major. Ujoints felt solid as well. Any ideas what could cause the vibration to reduce after the car has been driven?
