| This is why I like to use standard bearings. You get a better uniformity on bearing clearances. The .0025 is absolutely fine. So many ppl don't realize the amount of heat these engines produce and the added oil clearance while still within spec is needed to endure abuse. Keeping things tight will lead to several preamture bearing failures. FWIW...I would suggest that you NOT shim any bearing. I am most certain you'll see a better oil clearance with an aftermarket bearing than you will with an OE setup. Good luck
