Message	8mm decking would cause DS cams to be 7.5* out, PS cams to be 21* out. I don't think 10 degrees would cause your valves to hit your pistons. It would take quite a bit more than that. So, reading your comment below, the cam card states centerline with VTC active? That seems like a bad way to communicate centerline...
