Message ring and pinion teeth puts great shear on the oil molecules. So change it out. In the diffy use any brand name synthetic 75w-90 GL5 rated lube. RP 75w-90 is great in the tranny but the expense is not justified with so many great synthetic GL5 lubes out there for differentials at $8 to $11/quart (Mobile 1, Valvoline, Pennzoil, Amsoil, Castrol, Lucas, Havoline, Citgo, Shell, etc. The Amsoil you note is a good syn lube, have not used it. The LS is not needed in the Z32 diffy, viscous coupling sealed unit.

Your whine under load is the singing of the ring and pinion teeth meshing and is a sign of some wear. Don't panic do the cheaper fluid change B4 any expensive mechanical work.

If after a fluid change to a synthetic GL5 oil the whine noise is still present go up to a higer viscosity lube like the xW-140. If that doesn't solve your issue decide if you can live with it cause it will still last a long time (play music) or mechanical work needed.
