| Just in case you aren't familiar with the TPS design, it's actually a combination sensor. One part is a rheostat that signals a voltage range based on how wide the throttle is opened. The other part is a discrete switch that signals when the throttle is completely closed (FSM refers to this as "Closed Throttle Position Switch, IIRC). It's the latter component that could be causing your problems if it isn't signaling when it should.
