I recently replaced PCV valves, hoses, IACV, and TPS. Here is the issue: When the grey connector and black connector to the TPS is plugged in the engine stumbles, won't rev past 3000 RPMs. However, if only the black connector directly connected to the TPS sensor is plugged in, the car idles good at stops, but it will intermittently drop, almost die, then jump back to normal. It is even worse with the ac on. I have tried the procedure via online FSM but to no avail. Also, after an alignment the tech told me I have a fairly large crack on the passenger side down pipe where it mates to the turbo. On acceleration and deceleration I can hear the turbo flutter (i.e. almost like a waste gate). Boost is slower to build, but once it does it holds so I'm fairly certain it is not a boost leak. Could this be contributing to the idle issue? Any help or advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
