One of the 240 drifter d-bags told me to crack my throttle plate to adjust my idle instead of the IACV, to keep the turbo's spooling a little better during shifts. Currently when I shift, no matter how fast, my boost is completely lost and it takes about 2-3k rpms to build it back up. I'm boosting around 13psi. I'm thinking this theory may hold very little truth, but could be worth some discussion? It seems likely boost flow wouldn't be so easily reversed if some pressure was relieved through the throttle body, along with the recircs.
