Message Following the belt, starting at the crankshaft, you lose .015 before the d.s. exhaust cam. If the crankshaft sprocket is 3" dia (I'm guessing), that's about .6 deg, measured at the crank. There's no change between int/exh cams on either side. Then you cross the line twice to get to the p.s. cams. If cam sprockets are 6" dia, then you lose about .6 deg measured at the p.s. intake cam. So, if I'm correct, that's a total of approx. 1.2 deg retard at the worst point, the p.s. cams. I don't know how crucial that is on this engine.
