Message Sorry to have to shout, but this seems blindingly obvious at this point. Almost any gas you buy now will have up to 10% Ethanol. This destroys the old pintle style injectors. If you're buying these injectors, you're throwing your money away. They will fail, repeatedly. There is no point in continuing to use them. Save your time and money and get a new style injector. Most people recommend moving to the 740cc Nismos.

IMO, the voltage thing is a complete red herring. Before ethanol was put into the gas, these injectors obviously weren't failing after just a few months or a few thousand miles. You can do it if it makes you feel better, but its not going to fix the problem.
