was so "anal" in attaching the plenum. Since I'm an "older" guy, supporting myself over the engine bay while trying to lower the plenum and not disturbing the gasket wasn't something I thought I could do successfully. So, I used my engine cherry-picker to lower the intake down where I could put the bolts through their respective holes in the gasket and actually start the bolts by hand one at a time. Plus, I put a little silicone on the gasket to make sure it didn't move at all. With all that, a plenum gasket leak isn't on my radar. Thanks for the comments, I need all the help I can get. A re-do of everything seems like my only option.
