Message Glad to help! Here's some more info:

The ECU has a secondary warm-up timing map that is used only under very specific circumstances which can cause hesitation due to retarded ignition timing below 55c.

The exact conditions in which the ECU uses the secondary warmup are as follows:
1.) Coolant temp when the engine was started must be between 15 and 35C
2.) Current coolant temp must be between 30 and 55C
3.) RPM must be below 2600rpm
4.) Engine load (TP) must be below 45 (I have observed that many aftermarket ECU upgrades don't re-adjust this TP parameter for big injectors correctly, causing this warm-up mode to be used sometimes when it shouldn't)
