Subject	Timing question

Message	I checked the timing today with an inductive timing light and it is reading between 32 and 35 (far left on the scale). I know it should be around 15. The car runs fine except for an idle problem when cold or letting up on the throttle. I would have thought the timing being this far off that the car would run like crap or perhaps not even start. Just wanted to get your opinions before I started making adjustments in case I'm missing something. Thanks
