| connected at both ends. Hose is in good shape as I replaced it 7 or 8 years ago. So we can rule out that as the culprit. What is concerning is that the car seems to be idling fine which may indicate a turbo problem itself since idle isn't affected. I would think if I had some other boost hose disconnected that was large enough to not allow boost that it would be reflected with some symptom in the way the car ran, like idle hunting or "puffing"? I read about possible stuck wastegates but I couldn't find anything definitive of what the symptoms were of that or how to test it. I also can't remember what the boost gauge would show on a normally running car at idle. -14? 0?
