Message	Stock pistons are cast. I would personally vote Wiseco pistons if you're aiming for 500HP at the wheels. That's about the limit of stock cast pistons. Higher combustion temps may also cause issues with the ring lands cracking. Stock/mild (400hp crank) rebuild, sure use stock pistons. 500HP+ use forged pistons, they'll hold up better and give you the option to exceed 500HP in the future while still sleeping at night. Especially for $400 stock pistons, $600 forged? Definitely worth it.
