I noticed today that when I started the car my stock boost gauge went to a hair past 0 and then stayed there. Didn't budge even when the car was idling or moving. Car idled and sounded fine, drove fine too but drove like an NA not a turbocharged car. Got home too late to have a look at the engine but been searching on here for over an hour and found other similar posts from long ago but no definitive answers. What's different about my symptoms, is the boost gauge doesn't move from the 0 location until the car is turned off. Then it drops to -14. When it's restarted it goes right back to the 0 and then remains there, no matter whether the car is being driven or at idle, it doesn't fluctuate. Most of the other stories I read had their gauge moving from -14 to 0, but not past it. Mine is not moving at all when the car is running or idling. Would be interested to hear thoughts from anyone who has had experience with this and if this is due to a seized turbo, or something else, and if so, how to test it. Thanks.
