| to doing the test. i have deactivated the egr/partial delete, so i dont think the brown wire should be a problem. the white im guessing could be the knock sensor since i have had a code 34 since i got it. nmimports found the "subharness/wire" going to the sensor was damaged. guessing i should replace the efi harness at this point..
would a vacuum leak cause it to run rich? trying to figure out if i should:
1. replace the vacuum hoses
2. replace the o2's
3. temporarily relocate the det sensor
a. if that white wire is the det sensor that takes this one out of the question.... i figure im running rich due the black on the exhaust, but she randomly blows white/grey smoke usually at idle/low speeds ~10mph/reving without load
(white smoke started dumping out when doing the o2 diagnostic) from what ive read it should be black smoke.
- i dont have coolant in the oil or vice versa
- probable that i have bad rings or valve seals, yet compression has checked out every time going to do another compression test this week sometime, want this finally resolved
