Subject	Disappearing code 34?

Message	car has been down for last few years (college student) finally up and running with the swap but shes stuck in safety boost (code 34). Now when the car is stopped and I check codes it'll spit out 34 initially and if i take out of diagnostic back to normal mode and then back again to diagnostic no more code just 55. I'll take her for a spin come back home recheck and the 34 is back and disappear again after taking it out then back in diagnostic. Whats going on? Any input is appreciated. Its discouraging after so long finally hearing my turbos spooling and then seeing my boost gauge go nowhere.
