Message and it got caught in a torrential downpour. This has not happened in years - Z has been garaged kept 24/7 and this storm came out of nowhere. A day or 2 later I noticed a musty smell in the Z and it turns out that a puddle of water was underneath the passenger carpet. I took care of it with towels and baking soda but didn't trouble shoot the issue till today.

Today I took the following steps to identify the issue:

* I pulled out the passenger seat and pulled back the carpet.

* Got a large cup of water and poured the water in each drain. Turns out the rear drain on the passenger side was plugged somehow. I noticed puddles of water under each corner on the garage floor and I noticed that no water was on the passenger side floor.

* Since no water was inside the Z. I looked under the chassis / driver's rear to see where the water was coming from as the water should pour from the same location on the passenger side.

* I then took compressed air and blew in each drain and I saw a small spurt of water and air come out of each corner except the passenger rear. I also noticed no air "blowing" on the passenger side floor board either.

* I looked under the Z on the passenger side and in the same location -the metal was crushed. it turns out that at some point of time in the past, either I or someone else jacked up the Z on the same area where the drain is located. The metal closed the whole.

* I got a small metal flat head and pick and worked the metal back and jammed a small pick in the whole to free up the grime that had been there for who knows how long. This was the dirtiest water that I have ever seen.

* ran more water in the drain and "viola" --puddle of water on the floor !!

* turns out that the Z took water because of how much it rained and the t-top must of leaked onto the floor board somehow.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone else ever has a T-Top leak / drain issue.
