Subject	Oil and grime on back of engine?

Message	I found a lot of grime/dirt/oil on the back of the engine, circled yellow in the pic. That's not my engine this is just showing the location. Any ideas what it could be? It looks like it's almost coming the the swall yellow circle area. Not sure exactly what that is.
