If you look at the Z1 600R turbo it has some sort of gold plate that is bolted up to the turbo inlet. This is done with allen head bolts that I believe are preventing the pipe front seating properly. From looking at all the aftermarket turbo kits for the Z this turbo design is the only that has this plate. I did previously grind down the motor mounts when I first installed the turbos.

I will confirm this with Z1 and ash just to make sure I'm correct on this and maybe find a fix to, if not well someone will get a good deal on a turbo inlet kit.
