Subject	Why does my aftermarket oil pres gauge stay maxed out?

Message	Ive been reading that the factory gauge isnt reliable, and mine dropped to almost 0 at a stop light the other night. I have an aftermarket that was installed when I got the car, but it just stays maxed out at 100. Anyone have any ideas? Im new to Z's and am not sure how this thing is hooked up, or even what to look for to see if its right. Any help is much appreciated! Its on a 91 TT with a jdm motor if that makes any difference.
