| Been having fun with a persistent code 32. Its a 94 TT, do all 94+ have the EGR temp sensor? I thought it was a California only thing. Mine has one, but no records on the VIN of it being in ca. EGR valve operating normally by checking it with a vacuum. Solenoid replaced. EGR Temp sensor replaced. Tubes were cleaned out. Code 32 still shows up intermittently. An experienced Z mechanic was checking connections with a multi meter and found that from the connector to ECU that the OHMS were below what they should be so the new sensor put in is fine but the signal isnt making it to the ECU. At this point it was recommended to just switch the ECU over to a FED (Pre 94?) ECU so it wont even look for the EGR sensor. Has anyone ever had a bad wire between the connector for the EGR temp sensor and the ECU???
