| probably to milk boost out of it, meanwhile destroying everything inside the engine. My only concern with purchasing an 'off the shelf' set of bearings is the variance in clearance. I would like to avoid having to remachine the mains and crank if possible. I'll have the shop check the main condition/alignment while its there, I suppose if it needs to have the mains line honed then it wouldn't hurt to have the crank polished and standard bearings clearanced. Do you aim for a different clearance than the FSM (~0.0016)?
