Message Hey guys. So an old post of mine from a while back was locked and I had some new updates on situation. Sorry I didn't get to thank you all for your previous input as I was away for work.

Now, to recap what was going on: What happened was I was cut off by another driver and the front of my '92 Z took some cosmetic damage.
The car sat for 1-2 months before I finally got to pick it up from body shop.

Prior to the accident the car was running perfectly. No issues what-so-ever. However, leaving the body shop, the car was pouring thick blue smoke for about the first 10-15 of drive. All the while on my way home the car was running like complete crap. Sputtering, stalling occasionally when stopped, severe power loss, etc etc.

Now obviously at first I figured accident related as it was ok the last I had drove it leading up to the collision.

So the update: I've had the car checked out right at my dealership by a couple of the older guys who worked a lot on the 300s back in the 90's. The following is right from them:

"Found fuel trim on bank 1 is running too rich with major loss in power. Vehicle burning lots of oil from problems in turbo seals leaking. Technician can see oil leaking from right side of turbo when not running. Technician did try other computer (I brang them my stock ECU as I had AshSpec installed and it seemed to give them diagnostic problems. thought maybe computer may have been damaged from boosting battery or something) No change to operation.
Further diagnostic needed with full inspection of both turbos to confirm oil consumption."

So it almost seems coincidental that the car started working funny after accident
Maybe valve seal or something just happened to go after the car sitting around? Could have maybe fouled some plugs? Would the oil leak out turbo?

So now I need to find someone in my area to take a look at the car which is a problem.. not many places like that around here in Nova Scotia. They basically said its not feesable to have them go any further there.

I'm wondering now if it may just be cheaper to find another engine with turbos and all then spend X amount of money looking for a problem to just have to replace something anyway. Current engine only has 180K on it which I know isn't a whole lot but meh... I just want to get it back on the road.

Thoughts?
