If the abnormal wear is visible, it could be the problem. Got a buddy with a Z with good front tires. Borrow them for about 1/2 hour. One thing you can do is switch front to rear (if they will fit) I did this once, even though they rubbed on bumps, just to drive it once to 60 mph. It confirmed that it was not the tires. ....Another thought: if the inside of the tires is abnormally worn, and it's due to sagging or lowering springs (not bad toe-in), there is no adjustment for that. (you have to use the 300 deg kit or adjustable arms). So, I wonder how they could align it.
