| my thought was: If I make the bore to fit 87.25mm pistons, the crankcase journal's engraving (in my case: 2222) no longer matters. Since the main bearing grade is determined by adding this journal number to the what's engraved on the crankshaft's counterweight, how am I going to determine the main bearing grade now? Also, do i have to grind the counterweight considering the new 87.25 mm piston would weigh different than the original?
