Subject	Help... Front ball joint

Message	so I removed my front lower control arms on my 1990 z, I had a shop press in the new ball joint. I compared the old ball joints with the new ones, everything looked same, I installed the LCA back on the car, everything was fine but when I went to start my car and pulled forward my front wheels opened up in opposite ways, drivers side was totally turned left and passenger was turned all the way right,... I immediately lifted the front wheels, checked my tie rods, steering rack shock mount etc., the only thing I noticed was that the ball joint had a lot of play. I tightened the nut on top of the ball joint and it has about 3/4 of an inch of room to slide before it hits the spindle, please help idk if im missing washers, I don't remember throwing anything away. thankz
