Depending on how much you are saving with the used turbos (probably not enough to be worth the risk) I would say replace the CHRA in both turbos. But everyone else is right... "While you're in there" will get ya! I pulled the engine to replace both CHRAs and ended up with replaced CHRA's, a new harness, new manifolds, new injectors, 120k service, and... several other things. What started out as relativly cheap and labor intesive quickly turned into labor and cost intensive. just my .02
