Hey guys, glad to be a member of TT.net. It's been much help! So i'll jump to this problem i encountered. I stopped at a stoplight then it turned green so i start shifting gears, but when i shifted into second gear, it felt as if my engine was throbbing, like it wasn't getting any gas. I've had 2 fuel pumps replaced before, so it's been a problem. It smelt like gas, so i pull over and open the fuel pump cover and one of the fuel hoses was gushing gas. I towed it home, a few days later i work on it, i pull the fuel hose off the fuel filter in the engine bay and turn the key to prime the pump. No gas came out. Before this problem occurred that same hose stripped because of my pliers, so i went to o'reillys to pick up a fuel nozzle and an extra hose. i connect the two hoses and there's a lot of slack and its in the shape of an "S". Is this problem because of the pressure or just a bad pump? Thanks in advance! p.s sorry for TMI!
