engine running, and cold air comes into the cabin. This may be like a problem I had with my first Z32, a 95 NA. I was told I needed to replace the whole a/c control mod = $900. Instead, I wired straight to the compressor, through a switch that I mounted on the shifter, so it was always easy to reach. I manually controlled the on-off of the compressor for the rest of the time I owned the car. Seems hokey I know, but it worked and cost $5. An inadvertent bonus was that I could quickly turn the compressor off when I needed more power (remember, it was an NA).
