Message	my z does that too. do u have lights on the dash ? hicas < lights sysbol on ,.. etc ? i think u should check your alternator first before u invest money.. i about to get new injectors , coils , motor wires to rebuild mines.. so far its my alternator is bad causing my car to turn off. , but got a boost leak somewhere trying to find out. i been taking it step by step before i spend too much n the problem is still there. had u ever had your brake lights stays on with the car off ? mines doing that do u know what could be the problem ? for your z make sure u check the maf flow sensor , someone did stole mines n it was turning off everytime i start it. check the connections. let me know if u get true with your z. good luck.
