I have the "Interceptor" installed in my Z. My only concern for the use of this unit is that it has a "sensitivity" setting which must be set by the user. If the sensitivity is too High, the unit will retard timing much more often that it should and rob you of power. If the sensitivity is too Low, the unit will not retard timing when knock is present. I still believe it better than not having any "protection" at all.
