Message The car stalls because the maf is basically being blocked by water (choking your engine). NEVER restart your engine. At this point the water is just sitting in your intake pipes and intercoolers and hasn't made it past the TB's yet. If you start if, the water sitting in the pipes will go into the engine and you know what happens next. You start from the bottom , disconnecting IC hoses and releasing all the water at the lowest points working your way up.

When my car stalled I walked in knee deep water In heavy rain and pushed my car to the side of the road. First thing I did was opened the hood and remove spark plug 1 or 2 and look in the cylinder with a flashlight to make sure it was dry. Second I removed the intake hoses to the TBs and started the car. Immeadiately I heard sloshing and water being pushed around inside the pipes. Thats when I started evacuating the water with the methods I mentioned above.
