Message it is embedded in the evaporator box. The one in my car is malfunctioning, cutting in too warm (circa 44F rather than 34F). I assume removing a significant portion of the interior (console, console sides, radio bezel, the glove compartment parts group, perhaps the dash top) is required, as well as venting the refrigerant in order to remove the box. The TCA is mounted to the inlet side and its sensor goes over the evaporator and rests on the discharge side.

Nothing short of a nightmayer job for what amounts to a single sensor. That being said, w/o replacing it, my a/c just does not cool adequately. Its always lukecold.
