Sport 500s <10K miles, about 100 miles ago engine was out and while it was out I played with the turbo wheels, didn't check shaft play but it spun very easily on both turbos. No oil leaks, no smoke. - Boosts 9 psi and hits a brick wall, won't go higher. Actuators are synced and set to open at 12 PSI. - Installed 0.023" boost jets into hose that goes to wastegate actuator (safety boost solenoid deleted) on both turbos, still the same maybe a 0.5 psi increase. - Boost leak test shows rock solid system except leak on left turbo's compressor housing where it meets CHRA. My questions: 1) Shouldn't the other turbo just work harder to produce the 12 PSI? 2) Is it easier to get to driver's side compressor housing bolts (the ones you loosen to clock turbo) or am I looking at engine pull?
