| I guess theoretically the cylinder could be at TDC on the compression stroke and force the head off when unbolted. I would imagine it to be more gradual than a forceful jump from the block though! I think I will leave them off. Considering all the other corners I cut (only need ~10k out of this engine while I build the next one). The head is a little thinner on that area there, but I have a feeling 6 ft-lbs isn't going to assist much considering the rest of the 90 ft-lb bolts. That and the fact it is an oil return (minimal pressure) I will report back in a few thousand miles to let you know what happens. Thanks
