Message	I had the worst luck with Optimas. I switched from Yellow tops that never recovered from deep charges to Red Tops because of the longer warranty. A few months ago my Red Top went and I ended up getting two bad ones from Advance Auto before they found a good one that would hold a charge although it was low when I picked it up. I was going to look at different brands but my engine bay fits the Optima best, and Johnson Controls makes nearly all batteries anyway. I ended up buying a Ctek Maintainer/de-sulphurizer and I haven't had any problems since.
