Message	For around town the dino is just fine especially for an NA. I have been using Castrol with Purolater standard filter and used to change oil and filter at 4000 to 5000 or 6 months when, the sooner. Over the past several years the car only sees about 1000 per year so I change the oil at about 7 to 9 months. Engine uses no oil, great oil pressure has 90,000 miles, owned since new. If you car has high mileage using syn can do excessive cleanout because of the high detergent additive and you could encourage seal leaks and probably lifter tick. I bet the previous owner used a dino oil and you put Mobile 1 syn in there and cleaned out some built up sludge and probably moved some of that to the lifters that resulted in tick.
