Message	tank, pretty likely you'll crack/damage the wheel well liner. They get brittle with age - go really easy on the plastic push pin removal (easier said than done). On mine, passenger side -- I needed to fab up a little piece of stainless flashing and use a pop rivet tool to connect it to the liner.
