Message So when doing a plenum pull along with an EGR deletion and other stuff I noticed that the "Fuel Tank" line that goes from the fuel tank to the Carbon Canister somehow was cut (probably by accident) from the previous owner. It's cut within an inch of where the rubber hose connects to the hard line. (probably why my garage has smelled like gas the few months I've had this TT, lol)... With how my car is pulled into the my garage, I don't really have room to pull the bumper and do a Carbon Canister delete like instructed from Robo's page ([ http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/6901.html ])....so my question is until I get car back together and eventually do a full Carbon Canister delete, is it okay to just cap off the 2 vacuum lines the Carbon Canister went to? (one near the TB and the other on the balance tube)...and then just either: 1) Let the "Fuel Tank" line breathe and remove that cut rubber hose going to the Carbon Cansier??....or 2) Maybe even cap off the "Fuel Tank" line where that cut rubber hose was connected not allowing it to breathe??....and I know I could of course just replace that hose for now, but was just curious if the #1 & #2 options above would cause any issues?
