upon much visual inspection (without tearing into it all), i believe the water is either leaking from the water pump or one of the associate hoses right above. the rate of leakage is ~1 standard water bottle for ~20 miles travel. i know i have to get this corrected properly, but would it be safe to drive in the interim, refilling as needed until i have the chance to get it fixed? what happens if the wp just quits while driving? catastrophic damage? no noise from the wp tho. on a side note to my surprise, the z actually runs a lot smoother after i overheated, which is odd. the lifter tick i had is all gone (even at startup), and it actually drives and idles smoother than ever, haha. you never know with this car... thanks for your input...
