| Planning to properly wire my accessories, but have a question in regards to relays and wiring: I'm going to use the SPST OEM Nissan Relays which I believe are Blue or Green. I have a handful of spares at home so I'll just use a spare from there. I figure I'd wire the following to the relay:
30: Fused 8ga wire directly from the battery
87: Continued 8ga wire to fuse block that will power my gauges, ebc, radar, etc (8ga is probably total overkill)
85: Red power wire from radio (only works when on ACC or ON)
86: ***from what i've read, this has to be connected to a ground source?*** so ground to the frame? 86 does not make sense to me. Power the coil through 85 and ground that wire? That just seems like a short to me. I'm noob, so critique my plan. I don't even know if an OEM Nissan Blue/Green relay will be able to accept all that current being drawn for all of the accessories (fuse block has 8 fuses...I think i'll end up using at least 6).
